So here it is day two at my new job. It is pretty sweet so far. I get my very own laptop to work on. Today I also was able to see what the job was all about. The only bummer is that this job will end in four months.
It is alot like going out with a guy that will be moving far far away in four months, and you are not likely to ever see him again. My thought is why put the effort into the relationship if there is no hope of it going anywhere after 4 months. Seriously what does it matter if his favorite meal is tacos. In four months that will be useless information. You see this is one of many reasons I did not date in his school.
The reason, I discovered, that the job ends in four months is the whole department is moving to Las Vegas. I do have the opportunity to apply for the job and then move to Vegas. Which let me tell you would be fabulous. The sun and dessert. I would be less than 5 hours from one of my little brothers, and on the same freeway that I grew up on.
But besides all that drama. There is a spectacular view of Lake Washington with the Olympic mountains above. Oh yeah! they also have killer free coffee. Hooray!
